Which one came first egg or chicken? We all know this famous science puzzle right. Come let's explore it!!

 

 The Earth has been formed before 4500 million years ago. In that living beings like single celled and multi celled organisms like bacteria, fungi  were formed before 2500 million years ago.

The ability of organisms to lay eggs came more than 350 million years ago.

We have read that the organisms were first formed in the water. When eggs are formed in their outer. After that the organisms are evolved into reptile than birds. Due to this continuous change, the structure of eggs has been changed. Before the reptiles have formed the eggs were laid in the water in which daughter organisms is covered with a thick fluid. In this thick fluid, egg gets a cold surrounding.   The strong eggs laid by the reptiles or birds have a cold fluid in the shell.  Then the eggs have been formed. After that, egg laying capacity of birds also been changed.

To find the answer, we should know some basic knowledge of evolution.

WHAT IS GENETIC MUTATION ?

 The combining of two organisms and form a embryo to form a new organisms. In that, the changes in the DNA is called the " genetic mutation".

In the beginning there are two organisms which reproduce and form a new one. In this reproduction the cells of the new one differ from parent. Now the new on e reproduce with another organisms to form a new one. This new one differ  from the parent organisms. Like this continuous changing of cell leads to a major change. 

Like this only, before 230 million years ago, it was the dinosaurs era. In this dinosaurs era their was group called "THEROPOD". In this Theropod's group the T-Rex has been formed and the birds also came under this group only. Through this we could learn that " Birds came from dinosaurs ". Their skeletal structures are some what related to the dinosaurs structure.

 

Eggs has been their from the evolution of Reptiles. Chicken came in between the evolution of dinosaurs. So, that we can conclude that egg came first.

If the question is egg came first or chicken egg came first means we can easily say that egg only came first. The answer will differs according to the question.
