Hello everyone!!!💗💗 Welcome to my blog. I hope you all are fine! students were only copying but the famous scientists were also copying. About this only we are going to see in this blog.
Humans were invented many inventions but these inventions are related to some natural element, model and system.
The copying of the models, systems and elements of nature for the purpose of solving complex human problems is called Bio-mimicry.
Bio-mimicry is also called as Bio-mimetics.
The terms "Bio-mimicry" or "Bio-mimetics" derive from Ancient Greek word (bios) and (mimessis). (Bios) means life and (mimessis) means imitation.
The closely related field to Bio-mimicry is Bionics.
Examples of Bio-mimicry in the ancient time was the study of birds to enable the human flight. By the observation of the pigeons the Wright Brothers invented the first human flight in 1903.
Many inventions were based on this Biomimicry only.
EXAMPLE:
- LOCOMOTION.
Aircraft wings are designed and Flight techniques are being inspired by birds and bats. The aerodynamics of streamlined design of improved high speed train " Shinkansen 500 series" were modeled after the beak of "King fisher".
2. CONSTRUCTION
Researches studied the termite's mounds in African despite outside temperatures that vary from 1.5˙C to 40˙C. Researchers initially scanned a termite mound and created 3D images of the mound structure, which revealed construction that could influence human building design. The East Gate center, a Mid-rise office complex in Harare, Zimbabwe , stays cool without air conditioning and reduces 90% of energy of a conventional building of the same size.

- Polar bears fur has inspired the design of thermal cloths and collectors.
- Moths's eye has inspired to reduce the reflectivity of solar pannels.
