God's Finger Print

         Hello everyone !!! In this blog i am going to write about a mathematical concept called Fibonacci series.

 Fibonacci series

  •   A series of numbers on which each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers.
  • This series was found by Leonardo Pisano.
  •  Here are some Fibonacci numbers

                                0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, .................

 

  •  These Fibonacci numbers are related to our surrounding like flowers, music, architecture etc....  

  • The ratio of any two consecutive numbers greater than 3 will be always nearer to 1.6.

  • This ratio is called as the golden ratio.

  •  Floral pattern, galaxy, growth of leafs, cyclone, shell of snail, follow the golden ratio pattern.

  •  All the natural creations follow the similar Fibonacci pattern. so, it is called as God's Finger Print.

Fibonacci spiral.

  • Draw two square which has 1 cm as length.
                
  • Now draw another one square which has the sum of the length of the two square which has drawn before. The length will be 2 cm.
  • Now draw another one square which has the sum of the length of the third square and the first square. The length will be 2+1=3 cm.





  • Now draw another one square which has the sum of the length of the fourth square and the third square. The length will be 3+2=5 cm.

  • Now draw another one square which has the sum of the length of the fifth square and the third square. The length will be 5+3=8 cm.
  • Repeat this process again and again.
  • Now draw a spiral which connects the opposite sides of all the square.
  • we can see these Fibonacci spiral in the shell of snail, satellite image of cyclone, shape of galaxy.
