          Hello everyone !!!❤❤ welcome to my blog. In this blog i am going to write about a material which is stronger than diamond.

 Ok, i will give some clues to find it...


   CLUES

  1. It is an allotrope of Carbon.
  2. This form is derived form Graphite.
I think this will be very tough to find it. Because many of them were not aware of it.

            Ok, Let me tell about it. 

Graphene
            It is the strongest material than Diamond. This Graphene is the allotrope of carbon and the form derived from graphite.

            This was discovered by Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov. They found it in the "University of Manchester" which is located in England.

 PROPERTIES OF GRAPHENE

  1. It is the strongest and lightest material.
  2. It is a good conductor of electricity.
  3. It is 97.3% transparent.

Now a days many thing were made out of Graphene like helmet, biosensor chip, etc....

The thermal conductivity of carbon is in the range of 3000 to 5000 W/MK at room temperature.




( W/MK : Watts/Meter Kelvin )

The thickness of monolayer Graphene is 0.335 nm .

So, that reason only in Military they use Graphene as a bullet proof vest.
